Sad News PDF Print E-mail

I learned yesterday (8/19/07) that Bill Lennon ("Guillaume") passed away suddenly this past weekend. I do not have any of the details, but he did write recently that he might not make the reunion this year as he was having some health problems. Please Pray for him, especially on Wednesday (8/22) when his funeral Mass will be celebrated.

Who Knew all these People Were Still Around? PDF Print E-mail

Yes, I went to Sturbridge Mass to see some folks I had lost total contact with. It was a great idea and a wonderful time. Thanks to Cassadaga Central for pulling it together, and thanks to all who were able to attend. It helped to connect to those early years. Christmas and New Year Greetings and Best Wishes to all.

Sorry I missed the reunion. Maybe next one. Trying to put names with faces and not succeeding. Anybody ambitious enough to help? In 1967 class William Sommers was erroneously placed in 1968.

Let's do it again PDF Print E-mail

What a fantastic reunion! Thank you to all of the great Assumptionists that helped organize it.

For me, it was like a taste of Heaven being reunited with a very special formation family.

I hope we do it again in '07 where even more of our "brothers" will attend.

My day at the reunion PDF Print E-mail

Thanks everyone for a truly inspirational day. To Bro. Stephen, Thomas, and Thomas for organizing a truly memorable day. It was so great to reconnect with the most genuine friends that have ever accepted me as a peer. It was inspirational to be embraced by Fr. Camillus, my model of all that is good and genuine. Beyond words to be reunited with my closest friend ever, Ed. It was truly uplifting to reconnect with my former classmates, Harry, Roger, Kip, Ray, and Dick, a great group of friends. Many thanks to a great friend, Al Gaulin, for the effort to make it all possible for me. It was so great to see so many true friends, Milty, Bro. Phil, Bro. Thomas, Matt, Tom, Dave, Roger, and all I may have forgotten. 'til next year, I hope.

- Scotty
