"In green pastures he makes me lie down; to still waters he leads me, goodness and mercy will pursue me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the Lord for endless days." -Psalm 23
Let us pray for the eternal rest of Fr. Oliver Blanchette, A.A. who passed from this life early this morning, may he enter into the peace of the Risen Lord, to whom he gave his life.
After meeting Fr. Oliver in 2016, our Superior General wrote: "it is clear to me that you have not lost the fire and love of God that have characterized your many years of ministry...you have constantly responded to the call for renewal in your life and have always sought new ways to minister to the People of God." We thank God for the gift of knowing and learning from such an inspiring man.

You are also invited to participate in the Daily Mass online at worcesterdiocese.org
The following can be prayed alone or with family members in your household.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son (+), and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
PENITENTIAL ACT Brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins.
A brief pause for silence follows. Then all recite together the formula of general confession:
I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
OPENING PRAYER Let us pray.
May your right hand, O Lord, we pray, encompass your family with perpetual help, so that, defended from all wickedness by the Resurrection of your Only Begotten Son, we may make our way by means of your heavenly gifts. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

To all our mothers, both living and deceased, to those who acted as our mothers, and to those who loved us with a mother's love to day we remember you with heartfelt gratitude! Your care, your concern, and your sacrifices are an extension of God's love for us! "That smile on your face, the truth in your eyes, the touch of your hand... you say it best when you say nothing at all". Happy Mother's Day!
