A DAY FOR ASSUMPTIONIST FAMILIES AND CLOSE FRIENDS PDF Print E-mail

On Sunday, April 29, 2012,  the Assumptionists invited their families and close friends for an informal gathering at Assumption College. We celebrated the Eucharist and then enjoyed a plentiful brunch.

Although this event coincided with the Dedication of the new Tinsley Campus Ministry Center, the objective was simply to provide an occasion to be with those we care for and who care for us.  We rarely have such an opportunity to share in this way and to thank those dear to us for their love and support.

Of course, there are many others who also love and support us in so many ways through shared ministry and professional work. But this gathering was meant to solidify the bonds of family and personal friendship.

This was the second such gathering.  Can we consider it a "tradition"?
