Christmas Greetings from Father Miguel PDF Print E-mail

ChristmasMy dear Religious Brothers and Lay Brothers and Sisters in Assumption:

Christmas always reminds us that the love of God is close to us. Not only does the child Jesus make Himself human, but also His fragility reveals his face in the little ones of this world.

I cannot wish you anything better than the presence of Jesus in your lives, in your feelings, in your relationships and in your decisions. He is the one who has reunited us, He is the one who has called us to live our faith in the style of Assumption.

Many of us religious will renew our vows at Christmas. May the memory of the birth of Jesus illuminate our commitment and strengthen the words we have spoken when we accept follow Jesus Christ in Assumption.

In addition to the challenges that we must face in each of our countries, as a Province we take new paths and want to look at ourselves as an integrated body, with a common project, with clear priorities to respond better to the callings of the Spirit. This process will live during a very important moment in the third session of the Provincial Chapter at the end of next June. I invite you then to pray that we may together build our future under the impulse of the Holy Spirit.

Receive a warm embrace and the assurance that I think of you and entrust your lives and your mission to the merciful love of the Lord.

Merry Christmas and a Holy New Year 2012.

Padre Miguel aa.
