I am Joseph Kakule Munduvuyira. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo (RDC), August 14, 1978.

My parents are Ferdinand Muhindo Muhuwo and Madeleine Kahambu Muhiwa. They are Christians. I come from Mbau, a small village in the Eastern part of the DRC. I am a native of an Assumptionist Parish. Thus, I knew the Assumptionist family since I was young.

I finished my High School in 1998. Then, during my “gap” year, I was able to work a bit for about 7 months in a refugee camp so as to distribute food to the refugees. This moment is important in my vocation because it permitted me to be more in touch or in contact with the Assumption family nearby, I mean where the camp was built. And sometimes, I could go to their evening prayer.

In September 2002, I started my postulancy with the Kamen Community in DR Congo. In 2003, I went to the Novitiate «Maison Lwanga»  where I pronounced my first vows on August 25, 2004. Then, one month late I went to ISEAB (University) for my philosophy studies for three years (2004-2007). For my internship, I mean the pastoral-field I went to Kasando (an Assumptionnist Parish too) for two years. I pronounced my final vows in December 2009 in Nairobi (Kenya) a few days before I leaving for Canada. Now, I am studying theology at Laval University (Québec) since January 2010. I have been ordained a Deacon at the Montmartre Canadien Sanctuary in Quebec on July 12, 2014.

In a bird’s eye view, my “assumption experience” is very interesting. I enjoy it so much. May the Almighty keep me healthy and help me so that I may always be ready to work for the “Coming of the Kingdom”, (Adveniat Regnum Tuum).

Brève présentation

Je m’appelle Mumbere Ndaleghana Gaston. Né à Lume, le 6 février 1981, fils de Cosmas Paluku Kyahwere et d’Antoinette Katungu Poroto. Je suis de nationalité congolaise, de la province du Nord-Kivu, territoire de Beni. Baptisé le 8 avril 1981 à Mutwanga. J’ai grandi dans une famille chrétienne de la paroisse Mutwanga, au diocèse de Butembo-Beni. À 2001, j’ai été admis au pré-postulat des Assomptionnistes. J’ai enseigné pendant une année à l’école primaire Kindugu.

L’année suivante, j’ai commencé le postulat à Kyondo-Katendere. À 2003-2004, j’ai été admis au noviciat. Le 25 août 2004, j’ai prononcé mes premiers vœux à Butembo. Les années 2004-2007 sont en grande partie marquées par l’expérience des études en philosophie à l’Institut Supérieur Emmanuel d’Alzon de Butembo (I. S. E. A. B). L’année 2007-2008, j’ai été nommé à la Maison provinciale à Kambali, pour le stage post-philosophique.

Le 10 décembre 2009 j’ai prononcé les vœux perpétuels à Nairobi/Kenya. Les années 2009-2014, j’ai été nommé à Québec/Canada pour mes études théologiques à l’Université Laval. C’est à Québec que j’ai été institué lecteur en 2011 et acolyte en 2012, et ordonné diacre le 12 juillet 2014.
