You are invited to participate tomorrow in the Sunday Mass online at worcesterdiocese.org
The following can be prayed alone or with family members in your household.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son (+), and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
PENITENTIAL ACT Brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins.
A brief pause for silence follows. Then all recite together the formula of general confession:
I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
OPENING PRAYER Constantly shape our minds, we pray, O Lord, by the practice of good works, that, trying always for what is better, we may strive to hold ever fast to the Paschal Mystery. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

For the sick, the poor, immigrants and all who have asked for our prayers, that the Father may grant our petitions made in Jesus’ name. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
That the risen Christ might free all who have died to take their place in the kingdom of His joy. We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.
LORD’S PRAYER At the Savior’s command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
CLOSING PRAYER We have partaken of the gifts of this sacred mystery, humbly imploring, O Lord, that what your Son commanded us to do in memory of him may bring us growth in charity. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
DIOCESAN PRAYER IN TIME OF PANDEMIC O God, whose Only Begotten Son bore the weight of human suffering for our salvation, hear the prayers of your Church for our sick brothers and sisters and deliver us from this time of trial. Open our ears and our hearts to the voice of your Son: Be not afraid, for I am with you always.
Bless all doctors and nurses, researchers and public servants; give us the wisdom to do what is right and the faith to endure this hour, that we might gather once again to praise your name in the heart of your Church, delivered from all distress and confident in your mercy.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen
BLESSING May Almighty God bless us, the Father (+), and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
