THE ASSUMPTIONIST CENTER...
a place where we learn together, a place where, together, we discover what it means to be Church.
In order to help that to happen, we need to think and talk together.
And so, we are happy to announce this semester’s
CONVERSATIONS AT THE CENTER on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2015
Consecrated Life: The Cloistered Contemplatives
Being the Year of Consecrated Life, the Assumptionist Center will be hosting three conversations this Spring semester around the distinct forms and traditions of consecrated life in the Catholic Church.
Our first conversation will focus on the cloistered contemplative tradition. We are delighted to have Fr. Kevin Hunt, a Trappist monk, and Poor Clare Sisters share their experiences with us on what it means to be a cloistered contemplative in today’s world.
Come, Listen and Share
Sunday Eucharist at 11:00 am, followed by Conversation and Brunch
@ 330 Market Street, Brighton MA 02135
Note: The other two conversations will be on March 1 and Apr 12. These will focus on the apostolic community life and new forms of consecrated life since Vatican II.
