The Assumptionist Community of Tlilapan celebrated with joy the XX D'Alzoniano Youth Encounter in the Chapel of St. Joseph Jalapilla from November 23 to 25, 2018. Around 200 young people from Orizaba, Córdoba and Mexico City participated with enthusiasm and joy in their first camp with Jesus . It is because according to them, it was a wonderful experience that they will never forget. This is the main Assumptionist youth activity in Mexico that takes place every year to celebrate one more anniversary of the passage to the full life of our founder, Fr. Emmanuel D'Alzon.
We met with the intention of deepening the life and work of our founder, his time and his challenges, his spirituality and his thoughts. But also, in this meeting, we shared the experiences lived in this life of being Christians from the intuitions of our founder.

Assumption College has been ranked first in the state of Massachusetts and 10th in the nation by Study.com in its 2019 rankings for the top Christian colleges and universities.
According to Study.com, when ranking the 50 Best Christian Colleges & Universities, the organization “examined and ranked undergraduate and graduate Christian schools in an effort to recognize the top 50 Christian schools in the country.” Study.com used a variety of factors, including U.S. Department of Education data, school features, and unique faith-based opportunities for students. The ranking organization also stated that “while most of the schools provide traditional degree programs, they also offer religion-based degrees in addition to religious clubs and organizations to help foster students' spiritual growth.”
Assumption was recognized for its “quality education and outstanding student-centered service and ministry opportunities.” Study.com’s profile of Assumption states that “promoting a philosophy of education that aligns with classical and Christian ideals and values is a primary goal of Assumption College” and that it “provides students with a well-rounded academic and campus living experience that includes a major focused on theology and the ability to foster spiritual, social and intellectual growth through its campus ministry.”
