2010 Christmas Message from our Regional Superior PDF Print E-mail

In this video, Fr. Dennis Gallagher, A.A., Regional Superior of the U.S. Region of the Assumptionists, offers a Christmas greeting to all in the extended Assumptionist family.

As we gather at the Eucharist, in a very particular way, he prays that we experience the joy of Christ rooted in the mercy and love of God. In this way, we can overcome any distance we are experiencing in our lives, as we celebrate our God who chose to bridge the gap and sources of divisions that separate us from Him and others.

This Christmas, may we pray for a deeper realization and appreciation for the Child who came among us out of love for all of God's children!

Merry Christmas!

Conversations at the Center - December 5, 2010 PDF Print E-mail

The Assumptionist Center in Brighton, MA wants to be a place where we can learn together. In order to help that to happen, we need to think and talk together. For that purpose, we are pleased to offer a series of Conversations at the Center.

THE NEXT of these for this year will take place on Sunday, DECEMBER 5.

As we begin the Advent-Christmas season, we are inviting our residents to share from their diverse backgrounds. We have residents from Singapore, Guatemala, Philippines and Congo (as well as from all over the United States). One is a recent convert and one is Episcopalian. This should provide us with some rich insights into the Christmas mystery.

PLEASE JOIN US AND SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES AND INSIGHTS
