During the liturgy, Fr. Boniface who presided focused on one of the readings chosen by Eric and Jean-Claude, namely, the call of Samuel. Young as he was, he didn't yet recognize the voice of the Lord. But once he did, with Eli's help, he was quick to respond.
"Dear Friends, this step in our lives which you have just witnessed, you must know, comes at the end of a long journey during which God has revealed his love, but it is also the beginning of another journey which will require even more creative fidelity. It is one thing to pronounce vows; it's another thing, even more decisive, to live those vows out day in and day out. That requires, at once, God's grace, our fidelity, the witness, support, and love of brother and sister religious, and all of you, our friends and family. We count on this help and we simply say to all of you, Thank you so much." ![]()
