Assumptionist Center - New School Year

Assumptionist Center, located in Brighton, MA, is home to a small community of Assumptionist religious. These religious invite a limited number of young, single men who are studying and/or working in the Boston area to share an experience in Christian community life in the Catholic tradition. They come together on a regular basis for meals, prayer, recreation and meetings during which they try to discover how God is working in their daily lives.

Joining the Assumptionist community members and those laymen who are returning for another year, the following young men attended an official welcome, orientation and Sunday liturgy together for the first time on September 5th. at the Assumptionist Center chapel.

Matthew Chua comes to us from Singapore and will be studying theology at Boston College's School of Theology and Ministry.

Martin De Los Angeles grew up in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the U.S. and will begin his third year of Law School at Boston College.

Alex McKinley, originally from Berwyn, in the Chicago area, will be in the Master of Theological Studies program at the Harvard Divinity School.

Christopher Alt, from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, will be in the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College.

Joshua Johnson hails from Tucson, Arizona and will also be studying in the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College.

Dan Finucane, from St. Louis, Missouri, will be attending Boston College's School of Theology and Ministry.

Eddy Gonzalez comes to us from Guatamala and will also be attending the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College.

Sylvain Brison is a priest from the Diocese of Nice, France and will be studying theology at Boston College for one semester.
